Jon Kent, Founder & CEO
I'm Jon Kent, a seasoned entrepreneur and technology enthusiast dedicated to solving people and office productivity challenges with innovative web tools.
As the Founder of intheOffice, I've been revolutionising hybrid working since June 2020, approaching it from a people-first perspective. Our platform simplifies office attendance organisation, space bookings and visitor management. Proudly, intheOffice was nominated for Office Management Supplier of the Year 2022, 2023 and 2024.
I also founded CloudCoding Limited in November 2011, where I've developed various web applications, including the widely-used intheOffice app. My experience spans roles as a Senior Product Manager at Salary Finance and Head of Product for ShopWorks and fastPAYE. At Axis12 Limited, I led the creation of the Teacher Dashboard for Microsoft Office 365, which grew to over 6 million users within three years.
Before transitioning to tech, I worked as a Paralegal at Taylor Wessing and Norton Rose Group. The legal profession is very much in my family’s blood, with both my father and sister having highly successful careers as lawyers. However, it was my love for problem-solving and the clear-cut nature of coding that drove my shift from law to technology.
Outside of work, I've a long standing passion for target rifle shooting for Great Britain - a sport passed down from my father and grandfather. I've been incredibly fortunate to represent GB in the world championships in 2024 in South Africa, missing out on Gold (literally) by just a few points! I have also won world championships as an U21 for England and U25 for GB. Target shooting, especially long distance shooting (800 meters and above), requires a single minded dedication and attention to detail I really enjoy. It’s an all-encompassing sport that is superb for taking your mind off the challenges of running a successful software business and being present in the moment.
Whenever I can I love to travel with my wife - also a lawyer - getting out from under the hustle and bustle of London life to explore the food and culture of the world around us.
Other hobbies include cycling, a great way to get around London and stay in shape, plus you see the world from a very different perspective.
I have also been known to dabble a little in F1… I’d love to say as a driver or within a team, instead using driving simulators with some of the intheOffice crew is the reality. Huge fun, a great way to get close to the team, when time allows.
Please reach out and connect; it’d be fun to hear from other software developers, entrepreneurs or other CEOs.

Adam Scorey, CMO
Hi, I'm Adam, or AJ, a passionate marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. My career has been an exciting journey through senior editorial management, digital performance marketing, content creation, and customer engagement, and I've loved every moment of it.
Before teaming up with Jon at intheOffice, I held strategic SLT-level marketing roles in software startups and one of the world’s most respected professional services businesses. These experiences have shaped my approach to marketing, blending creativity with strategic thinking.
My journey in marketing began with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, honed during my early career editing multiple premium specialist magazines. It’s here I crafted my love of connecting with audiences through compelling content - whether written, audio, visual, or digital. This foundation in storytelling has been a cornerstone of my marketing approach, as I wholeheartedly believe in the power of a good story to connect, educate, and engage people.
My values and principles are incredibly important to me, driving my belief that marketing should be the 'building trust' team within any organisation. Transparency, continuous improvement, leading with empathy and integrity - these are the values I live by. Great marketers make decisions based on data and values, and I just love helping people get better every day.
Outside of work, I'm passionate about tennis - I belong to Evesham Tennis Club - and skiing, with my family and I particularly loving the slopes around Briançon, France. I’ve been learning French forever, don’t exercise as much as I should, and have two beautifully daft Old English Sheepdogs that take me walking. I enjoy reading science fiction, business books, and a good spy novel - Mick Herron's "Slow Horses" being my latest indulgence.
When I get the chance, I enjoy a little gaming on my PS5. Jon and I are occasional wannabe F1 drivers. We do get rather competitive but you’d be surprised how many ideas pop up in our conversations while critiquing pit stop strategy and tyre choices. It’s great fun and a fantastic stress-relief tool for us both.
I’d love to hear from you about anything - from my software to skiing, or even F1 sims. Let's connect and share our passions!
