What has changed in intheOffice, newest first.
Cross Location Booking
Until now you could only book spaces in the office you were assigned to. You can now book any space in your instance, live, whichever location it sits in: desks, offices, meeting rooms, parking spaces and pet spaces.
The location dropdown is on the Dashboard and on the Schedule page, and a space added to another location is bookable as soon as it is created.
Day View
An overview of one day, from the space plan to a report of where everyone is that day. The Scheduler shows every space that can be booked by the hour, so you can find a meeting room for the time you need it and book it there and then.
Space Plan
Upload a plan of the floor, place the desks and rooms on it, and people can see where a desk is and take a seat next to the colleagues they are in to work with. Because the plan is yours, it changes the moment you change it.
Multiweek View
Plan and review further ahead than a single week. Not every team works the same week twice, so a longer view makes the pattern visible and the office days easier to line up.
Group Admins
The first of a run of improvements to Groups. A Group Admin acts like a manager for their own Group and can set the statuses of the people in it when they cannot do it themselves.
Routines
Routines set a default status for each day of the week, for the days you already know: Working from home every Tuesday, In the office every Thursday.
Flexibility is the point, so a routine is edited whenever the pattern changes, only from that day forward, and any day can still be overridden on the Schedule page.
Offsite
Even before the pandemic people were not always at the office or at home. They were at a conference, at a customer's office, or away on a work trip.
Offsite is the status for those days. You type where you are, so colleagues know where you are and how easily they can reach you, and can plan their own week around it.
